Green and Spiegel Investor team presents at 2016 IMS Conference in Beijing

Matthew Galati

Matthew T. Galati of the Green and Spiegel Investor Team (“GANDSInvestors”) led two sessions regarding immigration options for investors and entrepreneurs at the 2016 International Migration Summit, held at the Conrad Beijing Hotel in China’s Capital from October 26th through October 28th, 2016.

On October 27, 2016,  Galati served as a moderator and panelist for his first presentation discussing the U.S. EB-5 investment program. In this panel, which also featured EB-5 securities attorney Clem Turner of Homeier Law and regional center principal Fred Burgess of DMD Ventures, the group discussed expected changes to the EB-5 marketplace, proposed legislative and regulatory changes, hot investor issues, retrogression, and the future of the program.

In his second speaking session, Galati presented “Alternatives to the Current EB-5 Mainland China Model,” a how-to for migration agents in attendance looking to diversity their portfolio of options to Chinese clients given the multi-year EB-5 retrogression. He provided an overview of immigration programs that are likely to rise in popularity, including the EB-1C Green Card, E-2 Visa for those of multiple nationalities, immigrant options regarding Canada, and the upcoming entrepreneurial parole regulations.
