Stephen Green is a senior partner at Green and Spiegel LLP in Toronto. Stephen has been practising immigration law for over 25 years, and has extensive experience in all areas of Canadian immigration. Stephen was listed in Who’s Who Legal for Corporate Immigration Lawyers, recognizing him as the Leading Canadian Corporate Attorney since 2005. Stephen has also been identified for many years as a leading practitioner in immigration law by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory. Stephen is considered a subject matter expert in the field, frequently asked to speak as a panelist, moderator and lecturer. Stephen has also held the position of chair of the Citizenship and Immigration Section of the Canadian Bar Association, is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the International Bar Association.

Stephen’s experience includes all areas of Canadian immigration law, specializing in corporate employee transfers, federal skilled worker applications, investor applications, work permits, and the Temporary Foreign Worker Program. He has appeared before parliamentary committee as a key witness on a number of immigration issues such as Citizenship and Labour Market Impact Assessments. Stephen also leads the Investment and Entrepreneur Program at the firm, which aims at helping experienced business people invest in Canada to achieve a permanent resident visa. Stephen also has particular expertise in NAFTA confirmation exemptions, work permit approvals for strategic, expert and key professional employees, and professional and amateur athletes.
